My Text Imagery gallery was inspired entirely by Ji Lee's Word As Image.
This really was something I initially did for fun. After discovering Ji Lee's fine work I started with a set of five and I ended up enjoying it so much that I wouldn't stop until I reached at least fifteen. It's a therapeutic process and I really am glad I tried it out.
I have done this before, but I felt that the whole set lacked a lot of consistency. This time I stuck to some rules that I set myself so that each word looks similar enough to be seen as a set and unique enough for each word to stand out in their own way.
